AMBER Alert activated in Michigan

An AMBER Alert has been activated in Detroit for 7 year-old  Amanda Gretchen Wambar.

The Detroit Police Department is investigating an incident of an endangered missing child AMANDA GRETCHEN WAMBAR who was taken by her mother from her sister’s house. Child is believed to be in extreme danger.

The Detroit Police Department says AMANDA GRETCHEN WAMBAR was allegedly abducted by LAQUANDA MONIQUE BARNES-WAMBAR.

AMBER Alert activated in Detroit for autistic teen

An AMBER Alert has been issued for missing autistic teen Detroit teen Nicholas Desean Blair.

The Detroit Police Department is investigating an incident of an endangered missing child Nicholas Desean Blair from Burnett, Detroit. Child is autistic.

Nicholas Desean Blair’s description is as follows: 13 years old, 5 feet 5 inches, 150 pounds and has Brown eyes, Black hair. Nicholas Desean Blair was last seen at 15:30 pm on 10182009 and is believed to be in extreme danger. Nicholas Desean Blair was wearing an orange coat with airplane logo, gray t-shirt, blue pants with black stripe.

An AMBER Alert has been activated in Detroit

An Amber Alert has been issued after authorities say three children were abducted by their father in Detroit.

(WXYZ) – Detroit Police have issued an Amber Alert for three children who are missing and considered to be in extreme danger.

Police say Alannah Adams is two-years-old, two feet tall and weighs 35 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and is wearing a diamond stud earing. She was last seen at a home on Pierson Road in Detroit.

The other children involved are five-year-old Ajani Adams and seven-year-old Amari Adams. Ajani is three-feet-tall and weighs 65 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Amari is four feet five inches tall and weighs 80 pounds. He also has black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities say they believe the children were abducted by their father who is armed with a gun and has fired shots.

Anthony Adams is 29-years-old, five feet four inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has several tattoos on his arms. He was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt BLK with a New York license plate with the number DHX7549.

According to WXYZ, the alert was issued at 12:58 a.m. however as of 6:00 a.m., they aren’t listed as an active AMBER Alert at the NCMEC.

Update: Three Detroit Children Safe after Amber Alert

(WXYZ) – Detroit Police have cancelled an Amber Alert issued for three children who were missing and considered to be in extreme danger.

Michigan State Police say the children were found safe in Fort Wayne, Indiana along with their father 29 year-old Anthony Adams, who is accused of kidnapping them.

State Police say Adams was arrested. He lives in Cheektowaga, New York, a suburb of Buffalo.

AMBER Alert for missing 13-year-old in Detroit

An AMBER Alert as been issued in Detroit for missing Je-ni Cushondra Scott. It is interesting to contrast the NCMEC AMBER Alert with the news article from WXYZ.

AMBER ALERT Subject was dropped off at a school bus stop located on Grand River and Greenfield in the City of Detroit on 4/20/09 at 7:30 a.m. Subject left location of the school bus stop on foot and has not returned. Subject texted her father she was locked inside of a basement of a house located on Grandville in the City of Detroit at approx. 4:20 p.m. and that an unknown subject would not let her leave.

(WXYZ) -The Detroit Police Department is investigating an incident of an endangered 13 year old girl.

Je-ni Cushondra Scott was last seen at a school bus stop on Grand River and Greenfield on the city’s west side on Monday at 7:30 a.m. She is 5 foot 2 inches, 130 lbs. and has brown eyes and black hair. She was wearing an Academy of Westland uniform yellow shirt and brown and white plaid skirt with blue jeans underneath.

Update 04-23-09: Two face sex charges in Detroit girl’s disappearance

Detroit –Two men were arrested this afternoon in connection with the disappearance of a 13-year-old girl earlier this week, a police spokesman said.

The men were arrested on criminal sexual conduct charges in the fondling Je-Ni Cushondra Scott, who was reported missing after her father dropped her off Monday morning at a bus stop at Grand River and Greenfield. They were expected to be arraigned later today.

Police are trying to piece together what happened with Je-Ni. While the text she sent her father later that day claiming she was being held in a basement against her will was untrue, she was in a dangerous situation, said Detroit Police Second Deputy James Tate.

Psychic Says She Sensed Caylee in Wooded Lot

Meanwhile, a psychic said this week she sensed that 2-year-old Caylee’s remains were in the wooded area where they were found last month.

  

The skull and bones were discovered in a bag a half-mile from the Anthony family home in Orlando by a water meter reader, Roy Kronk, who says he called investigators months earlier about a suspicious find there.

Update 01-14-09On the Nancy Grace show last night Ginnette Matcia Lucas claims she was the person speaking on the phone with Dominic Casey as he searched in the video for Caylee’s remains. Unfortunately she stated Verizon has been unable to verify the call took place. Perhaps Mr. Casey’s cell phone bill will have a record of the call.

According to this WESH News article her call didn’t lead him to her remains.

Dominic Casey has said he did not find any remains in his search of the woods. He photographed trash, beer bottles, old tires, even a toilet and turned that over to law enforcement.

In an the case of missing 3-year-old Tangena Hussain, who was last seen at approximately 9:00 p.m. on October 2, 2008 at the Marathon Gas Station in Detroit, Michigan, a psychic claimed to know where her body was and contacted Detroit police.

Site Searched In Tangena Hussain Case

Detroit police searched the area of Interstate 94 and French Road, on the city’s east side after a psychic named Ed Dames contacted them about a month ago.

Detroit police Commander Paul Welles said Dames told them he had an ESP skill called remote viewing.

“He sent a Google map that shows us the area,” Welles said. “He said he’d like to come out, he feels strongly that the body was hidden there.”

Police said they offered to help Dames search the area, but that he went to the site later on his own.

“It caused some concern that he would come and not solicit our help,” Welles said. “At least get him to the location, show him around, and then be there if indeed he found anything.”

Police said Dames insisted that he had a hunch about the area and told police to check two drains, roughly 18 inches in diameter.

Police said they searched with a cadaver dog but found only trash.
