Florida Missing Child Alert – Luke Finch

A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for 3-year-old Luke Finch who is beleived to have been abducted by his father, Paul Martikainen.

A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert ( Parental Abduction) has been issued for Luke Finch, last seen in the area of Taylor Park at Harrison & Delannoy Street in Cocoa Florida, wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue pants and black and red fire engine sneakers. The child may be in the company of Paul Martikainen, a white male, 35 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 176 pounds, blonde hair and green eyes. They may be traveling in a green Ford Explorer, with a dented rear bumper, tag number 142KEA.

According to the NCMEC:

A felony warrant was issued for the abductor on November 28, 2009. They may be traveling in a 1977 32-foot Bristol Model Sloop sailboat along the Mississippi River.

Family Asks For Help To Find Missing Girl

Brooke Hanna’s father says he expected her back home from a spring break trip to Florida on Sunday evening — she never returned — she’s not answering her phone and now he believes the girl’s mother may have taken her on the run.

 

Brooke Hanna was allegedly abducted by her mother, Donna Hanna. A US Marshal Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution warrant was issued for Donna. They may be traveling in a cream colored 2005 Chrysler 300 with Arkansas license plates 215MEC. Brooke’s navel is pierced. Donna may dye her hair blonde.

Mother facing arrest in Hanna custody dispute

 

Donna Wilson Hanna, 46, is accused of failing to return her 15-year-old daughter, Brooke, on Sunday after they spent spring break together in Florida. An arrest warrant signed Tuesday set her bond at $25,000.

Brooke’s father, Burt Hanna, is president of Fayetteville’s Hanna’s Candle Co., one of the largest privately held candle manufacturers in the country. The company was founded in 1987 and operates a 660,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on Armstrong Avenue that employs about 150 people.

Burt Hanna was awarded custody of their daughter on Aug. 15 after a bitter divorce and custody battle. Donna Hanna filed an emergency motion for custody on Monday with an affidavit from a Florida counselor alleging that Burt Hanna has acted inappropriately with his teenage daughter. Burt Hanna said the allegations are bogus.

He said he’s afraid his daughter and ex-wife will flee the country. He’s trying to get the U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI to pick his ex-wife up on federal charges of fleeing from prosecution if she tries to leave the country.

Update 04-16-09: Car carrying millionaire mother, missing Brooke Hanna found in Oklahoma

BONITA SPRINGS — A Bonita Springs woman being sought by U.S. Marshals for breaking a custody agreement may have caught a flight from Oklahoma with her daughter, according to the woman’s ex-husband.

The car in which Donna Hanna and daughter Brooke, 15, were last seen driving was found Tuesday at a Ramada Inn near an airport in Tulsa, Okla., said Burt Hanna, Brooke’s father. The two women have not been located.

 

Bruce Hanna has also filed suit against his ex-wife for not returning Brooke per their custody agreement according to the Northwest Arkansas Times.

Fayetteville businessman Burt Hanna filed a lawsuit Monday against his ex-wife, Donna Hanna, for failing to return their 15-year-old daughter, Brooke, on March 29.

Burt Hanna is seeking $1 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. He is also offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the return of his daughter.

 

Update 04-23-09: Mother And Daughter Arrive Home, Meet Federal Authorities

 

HIGHFILL, Ark. — Donna Hanna, who is accused of unlawfully leaving the state with her daughter, arrived at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Wednesday night with her daughter, where they were met by federal authorities.

Donna Hanna, 47, was taken into federal custody after arriving at the airport on a flight from New York. Officials said her daughter was taken to relatives.

Missing 10 year old in Yuma Arizona

A 10-year-old girl, Damaris Herrera-Lopez, is was missing in Yuma, Arizona apparently after running away during a custody dispute. Her father wondered why an AMBER Alert wasn’t issued. The Arizona AMBER Alert is not activated for Access or Custodial Interference Cases where there is no danger of serious bodily injury or death to the child.

Police “Struggling” to Clear Parent of Missing Girl

 The Yuma Police Department says it’s investigating both parents in the case of a missing child. Damaris Herrera-Lopez vanished on December 10th after running away from the McDonald’s parking lot on Fourth Avenue. Detectives say it is standard practice to take a close look at both parents, but they also say they are “struggling” to clear one of the parents. They will not say which parent is under more scrutiny.

Update 12-27-08 Mexican Officials: 10-Year-Old Missing Girl Seen In San Luis

In court Wednesday morning, a judge issued a civil arrest warrant for Crystal Lopez. Her bond has been set at $100,000 cash.

Note: Her case has been removed from the NCMEC but there is no update on her recovery status.

Update 01-29-09:  Mom: Missing child is in Mexico

The mother of a child who was reported missing in Yuma in December has come forward to confirm the child is with her in Mexico.

Chrystal Abren Lopez also defended her 18-year-old son, who is facing charges here in the Damaris Herrera Lopez disappearance.

Karin Kvistad

Last year in a post about Allison Quets, International abductions there was mention of a parental abduction involving Robert Skelton and Karin Kvistad. In an update to the story it appeared Karin had been arrested but apparently that wasn’t the case according to AMW, “Mother Sought In Daughter’s Kidnapping“.

Police are searching for Karin Kvistad, who is wanted by the FBI for kidnapping her daughter, Marissa.

Perception and deception

The authorities believed him to be armed and dangerous but his estranged wife felt otherwise. Another stabbing, another parent,  this time resulting in death in San Bernadino, California.   “Missing Kids Found With Murder Suspect”

 Just minutes after issuing an amber alert for 4 children in San Bernardino County, a motorist spotted the suspect’s mini van on the 210 freeway.

He allegedly stabbed his estranged wife’s boyfriend prior to kidnapping the children according to ABC 7.

 Police say this all started early Sunday morning at a house on the 1400 block of North Bell in San Bernardino. They say Sanchez had gone over to the house where his estranged wife was living. For some reason, Sanchez got into an argument with her. In the bedroom at the time was the wife’s live-in boyfriend. Police say that’s when Sanchez got violent and stabbed the boyfriend to death.

In Tennessee the search is on for a missing child. She is not listed at the NCMEC nor is she the subject of an Amber Alert. She is listed at the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).

Police Search For Missing 3-Year-Old

A warrant has been issued for Keiya Simmons’ arrest for custodial interference. 

Police said Simmons may be traveling with two rented moving vans toward North Carolina. 

Police said the child’s mother is a belly dancer who travels with a troupe. They also said she has numerous Turkish and Chinese writing tattoos on her body.

Update 08-23-07 The child’s poster has been removed from the TBI site.

“The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office has requested SLED to activate an Amber Alert after 27-year-old Michael Lowe, of Greeneville, Tenn., abducted his three children from their mother at 4273 Santolina Way in Murrells Inlet. The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is also asking for the publics help in locating the children and suspect,” Sgt. Neil Johnson wrote in the department’s release

Update: The alert for Michael Lowe has been canceled and he has been arrested.
