Should the Anthony family have waited to announce a foundation until after Casey’s trial? Will the verdict impact your decision whether to donate financially or is your mind already made up?
…Because of this outpouring of compassion, the family will continue to honor Caylee’s memory by establishing the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation. The foundation’s purpose will be to continue to generate awareness for missing children and to establish programs to assist in the well-being of those children in need of comfort and support during difficult and stressful times.
Casey Anthony statement regarding Caylee’s funeral service.
“I miss Caylee everyday and every minute of everyday,” Casey Anthony said in a statement read by her lawyer Monday afternoon.
“I can’t be there for Cayee’s funeral but someday I want to visit her gave and want to tell her how much I miss her… I know they cremated her, but I still don’t want the public with cameras and everyone around for Caylee’s funeral service. I can’t stop my parents from doing what they want. I truly hope it will help them.”
The following seems like an odd comment to make considering her daughter is in jail for allegedly murdering Caylee, but Cindy Anthony is quoted as making this statement at her grandaughter’s funeral service. Casey didn’t report her missing for five weeks and refused to assist authorities in their efforts to find her so many have been left to question her love for her child.
“It breaks my heart today that Casey isn’t here today to honor her child who she loved so much,” Cindy Anthony said during the eulogy. “Casey, I hope you’re listening to this. I wish I could comfort you. I wish I could take away your pain and wipe away your tears.”
