Cindy Anthony on Monday’s NBC’s “Today” said she believes her daughter knows who has Caylee. However she may not know where she is.
“I know Casey knows who has her,” she said. “I know Casey doesn’t know where they’re at right at the moment. But I don’t know anything else right now because I can’t speak to my daughter. And we’re trying to get that changed very quickly.”

A group from Tony Padilla Bail Bonds, based in Sacramento, Calif., is scheduled to arrive at Orlando International Airport at 4 p.m. Sunday, said Leonard Padilla, a bounty hunter and Tony Padilla’s uncle. Leonard Padilla has been a perpetual candidate for public office in California. He ran in 2006 for Sacramento County supervisor and has run several times for Sacramento mayor — most recently in June, when he was defeated in the primary. In 2005, he announced a bid for a congressional seat. And he was among the many candidates vying to replace recalled Gov. Gray Davis in 2003.

Update 04-1-09: State reverses itself, will seek death in Casey Anthony case
NEW YORK (CNN) — In a dramatic reversal, the Florida state attorney’s office announced Monday it will seek the death penalty against Casey Anthony, the 23-year-old woman charged in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.
The state had previously said it would not ask for the death sentence for Anthony.
The development could have a major impact on how the case plays out at trial, including whether defense attorney Jose Baez can stay on the case.
Baez has not been certified by the court to defend capital punishment cases.
they need to search the area around the apartments where the mom says she last saw caylee, that is where she might of disposed of the body,,, if she had done harm to caylee,, thanks… T..
This has went on long enough, that precious little girl deserves to be brought home, the mother”casey” has told enough lies.
I believe Leonard Padilla the bounty hunter from CA ,is there for publicity and the $225,000 reward. I know he says he doesn’t care about the money but his attitude and demeanor tell me different. Dog comes across as caring and loving towards everyone he deals with. Even the ones a lot of people wouldn’t consider giving the time of day. He lives the Bible verse about what most people only give lip service to about the very least things we do for any of God’s children we do for Him. Yes, I also believe if Caylee is out there Dog can find her. I am so afraid she won’t be alive after all this time. I pray I am wrong and she is safe somewhere waiting to be found. I know she has a lot of people praying for her.
I think this is bs! I can’ t believe FL won’t seek the death penalty on this sorry excuse for a human being. I would’ve taken Caylee if she didn’t want her anymore. I would’ve given her a nice, loving home and taken care of her until my last day here on earth if it meant she could have lived to see her 3rd birthday and many more after that. How could a mommy do something so hanus to their own child. I’m a mother of a precious little girl Caylee’s age and I read these news articles and CRY because I can’t imagine my baby being gone for 3 seconds and me not freaking out. I panic when she runs down the aisle in the grocery store ahead of me! This is horrible and Casey needs to pay. However, life in prison being that she’s only 22, is basically like death already.
