In a post at True Crime Blog UK, “Continued Prayers For The Girl With The Teardrop Eye” there is a mention of the British charity Missing People  (formerly the National Missing Persons Helpline) which re-launched their website yesterday.

On their About Us page, they describe themselves as:

The UKs only charity that works with young runaways, missing and unidentified people, their families and others who care for them.

In Portugal Kate McCann in honor of International Missing Children’s Day attended a luncheon hosted by The Portugal Resident at the A Paleta restaurant in Lagoa.

The aim of the lunch was three-fold.

  • To raise funds for the Instituto de Apoio à Crianca (the Portuguese organisation which assists in the search for missing children in Portugal)
  • To remember the Portuguese children shown on the missing list produced by the Polícia Judiciária
  • To continue the focus on Madeleine McCann who has been missing for 23 days.
