Why have there been no updates in the Trenton Duckett case? In fact why do stories of all missing children seem to fade after their initial coverage? Everyday some of the search engine terms for this site are from someone seeking information or updates for a missing child.
The Orlando Sentinel has continued to follow his story.
“They’re definitely getting way down in the number of leads,” Leesburg police Maj. Steve Rockefeller said.
Visit the “Team Trenton” site and there is little new information regarding his disappearance. Last month, some e-mails were sent from here to “Team Trenton” and several Korean reporters suggesting they solicit assistance from well known bi-racial celebrities, Hines Ward and Ursula Mayes who are periodically visiting South Korea. They are specifically addressing issues for bi-racial children. Wouldn’t a brief mention of Trenton Duckett’s case go a long way in raising public awareness there?
The latest updates of events from Team Trenton:
Friday & Saturday, November 17 & 18, 2006- We will also have a tent at the Leesburg Country Music Fest asking for donations (although we hope we don’t need them by then). We will have “Team Trenton” wrist bands and tee-shirts available in return for donations.
There was even a suggestion made to them via an e-mail to direct people to a site where they could view the fund raising merchandise to help spur sales efforts which too went unanswered.
Josh Duckett said he’s gearing up for dirt-bike races next month in Alabama and California during which he will pass out fliers about Trenton and display “Team Trenton” decals on his bike.
As Joshua travels cross country to various races, maybe he could post Trenton’s picture and information on his trailer.
