The Flint Police Department is investigating an incident of an Endangered Missing Child. Lameyaha Darnee Washington was taken from her mother’s residence and is believed to be in extreme danger. Sade Nola Simpkins left the residence on foot with Lameyaha Darnee Washington.

Update: Amber Alert canceled for Lameyaha Washington, 8 months old
FLINT, Michigan — Police have canceled an Amber Alert for a missing 8-month-old Flint girl.
According to police the baby, Lameyaha D. Washington, was found about 9 a.m. today and she is not injured.
Lameyaha was reported missing to police shortly after midnight Monday. The baby’s mother told police a friend, 18, was watching Lameyaha while she took a bath. When she came downstairs a short time later, the door was open, and the baby and the friend were gone.
It is unknown where Lameyaha was found or if she still was with the friend.
Update 04-08-09: Woman faces kidnapping charges in case that triggered Amber Alert for missing Flint baby
FLINT, Michigan — A woman accused of kidnapping an 8-month-old girl Sunday may have been suffering from emotional issues after losing custody of her own young son, officials said.
Sade V. Simpkins was arrested Monday after police said she walked out a Flint woman’s house with her baby.
Simpkins, 18, had been watching the child while her friend took a bath Sunday night, but when the friend came downstairs a short time later she found the door open and the pair gone.
its really shocked me to hear she did a crazy thing like that sade nah then when i seen it on tv i was like hell nah cause i knowned sade to be a sweet girl eventhough she was my exgirlfriend when me and her was togather we had a lots of ups and downs conflicts but we did have good times duh but we been apart for 3months due to the conflicts we went through but deep inside i still love her to this day. but im glad to hear the lil girl is back home safe an sound thank god for that .and im going to keep sade in my prayer and hope god be with her through the hard struggles that she going through cause prison is no good place to be . even though she did wrong and me too i still got lots of love for her cause i know deep inside shes a very good personcause me and her knew eachother for a very long time & went to school togather she never bother anyone was always cool and easy to get alone with but i pray and hope the judge dont give her life jus give her a liter sentence cause i jus cant see her in prison 4 life cause it will hurt me deep inside never seeing her agin cause deep down she still my baby and i love sade and care about her cause god knows i lived a rought life and she did too from home and in the streets and i hope my pryers be answered . love you always sade simpkins
