At the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCFS) site there is a request for the public’s assistance in locating the 313 Missing Children. One of them is Ja’Vion Malik Redd. There is information about him in the following article (where his name is spelled Ja’Voin) however, like most of the other missing children in the “care” of the State of Florida, he is neither listed at the Florida Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse site (MEPIC) nor the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Missing Jacksonville 10-month-old being sought
Jacksonville police and state child protection workers are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing, endangered 10-month-old child.
Ja’voin Redd was last seen Dec. 10 with a relative who’d been ordered by a judge to turn Ja’voin over to the state Department of Children and Families. Agency spokesman John Harrell said authorities have reason to believe the child has been previously abused and/or neglected. No other details about those circumstances were released.
The child is still believed to be in the Jacksonville area.
Ja’voin is a black male with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Todd Raleigh of DCF at 904-226-2448.
