Abducted on his way to school

In a story being compared to the abduction last fall of a Las Vegas child, authorities in California are searching for EDUARDO RIVERA . Some reports suggest An Amber Alert was issued at 5:53 p.m. Friday, while others state one has not yet been issued. There are no active AMBER Alerts posted at the NCMEC. MSNBC has reported a Statewide AMBER Alert was issued. Finding it is a different story.

RIVERSIDE, Calif.(CNS) — A 7-year-old foster child was abducted Friday on his way to school in Riverside, and police sought the public’s help to find him.

Eduardo Rivera was approaching the corner of Cole Avenue and Kinnow Lane around 7:50 a.m., going to meet his school bus, when two unidentified Hispanic men grabbed the boy and hustled him into a nearby compact car, then drove away, according to Riverside police Capt. Mark Boyer.

A 7-year-old foster child who was abducted on his way to school in southern California has been found safe in Las Vegas.

Eduardo Rivera was located at a home in Vegas at about 6 a.m. Saturday and was taken into protective custody, according to a police statement

Missing in Idaho

An AMBER Alert was issued and cancelled in Idaho last night for two girls alleged to have been abducted by their mother. Both children were recovered safely in Post Falls Idaho. The mother was taken into custody by Post Falls Police Department.

Idaho authorities do need help in locating two Endangered Runaways. The pair have been missing since December 5, 2008, They may be  in the Boise or Caldwell area.
