Apparently when Tiger Woods fist pounds it exhilarating. When Nancy Grace does, it is irritating, at least to one viewer.
“I saw it, and I was just outraged,” said Deratany, who wrote to the family. “I usually just turn her off, because I find her so offensive. All that fist-pounding and the way she assumes everyone’s guilty is just appalling to me.” Jay Paul Deratany
These are recent comments from the attorney for Gerald and Bethann Eubank who have filed a lawsuit against Nancy Grace and CNN.
Deratany has offered a $100,000 reward Wednesday for any information that helps find Trenton Duckett .

Nancy Grace’s style of questioning her guests may be distasteful to many, but let’s look at the merits of this lawsuit. Melinda Duckett took her life after being interviewed by NG. This fact alone is screaming that one must look past disliking NG and deeper into Melinda Duckett. Melinda Duckett threw, her allegedly kidnapped child, Trenton’s, belongings in the trash bin while the police were out aggressively searching for missing Trenton: http://www.wftv.com/slideshow/news/13942718/detail.html Trenton’s father Joshua was in the process of trying to get custody of his son as he believed Trenton was not being properly cared for: http://tampapirate.com/2007/03/13/still-no-new-leads-in-the-trenton-ducket-case/ It has been reported Melinda Duckett’s parents, the Eubanks, had nothing to do with her for the three years prior to her death and had never met their grandson, Trenton:
http://www.parentsbehavingbadly.com/2006/11/21/melinda-ducketts-parents-sue-cnn-joshua-duckett. One cannot help but wonder why the Eubanks are suing Joshua Duckett, who they also had never met. Melinda Duckett’s life was a train wreck and it appears that her parents are who failed her and not NG. How does one make the giant leap that Nancy Grace caused Melinda Duckett’s suicide? How in the world did such a lawsuit get filed. Chicago attorney, Jay Paul Deratany is quoted in the Sun Times as saying “I saw it, and I was just outraged,” who wrote to the family. Jay Paul Deratany saw the interview of MD on NG, tracked down the Eubanks in New York and offered to sue NG on their behalf. Not liking Nancy Grace does not mean there is a lawsuit with any merit here: http://overlawyered.com/2006/11/nancy-grace-sued-for-guests-suicide/ What kind of parents/grandparents are these people? They had nothing to do with their daughter, never met their grandson yet believe that a jury should cause NG to write them a big fat check? Why should these people profit from the death of their daughter? This lawsuit is outrageous. The only people that deserve any sympathy is Trenton Duckett and his grieving father Joshua Duckett. When all is said and done one can only hope that Trenton and Joshua find justice and the court holds the Eubanks and Jay Paul Deratany accountable for further victimizing Joshua.
