Child Protective Services Secrets

Riley Sawyers like so many other children may have never stood a chance at a normal life. It appears violence was a part of her life even at her young age according to the Houston Chronicle.
On March 30, Trenor filed a domestic violence charge against Robert Sawyers and he was arrested. Her complaint alleged that he pinned her to a wall by forcing his hand around her neck. The charge against him was reduced to disorderly conduct. He pleaded guilty and was ordered to receive anger management counseling.
A few months later, Kim Trenor moved to Texas after meeting Royce Clyde Zeigler II while playing World of Warcraft, an on-line fantasy game. Riley was later allegedly killed by her mother and stepfather.
Riley died on July 24. Trenor told authorities the girl was beaten with leather belts, had her head held underwater in a bathtub and then was thrown across a room, her head slamming into a tile floor.

Last year, 3-year-old Marcus Fiesel died after his foster parents, Liz and David Carroll Jr., left him bound in a closet for several days while they attended a family reunion. His body was later found after being burned in an incinerator. His isn’t an isolated case.
