OCALA - The body of an 83-year-old woman was placed in a garbage bag and dumped along a dirt road by her daughter, according to Marion County sheriff’s investigators. Now, authorities are looking at leveling charges of not reporting her death and cashing her retirement checks.
Debra Ann Loreth, 53, has confessed to tossing aside the body of her mother, Jeanne Vasa, in Lake County so she could get her retirement checks and so that her mother “could be taken care of,” meaning, that her body would be found and get a proper burial, Marion Sheriff’s Inspector Mike Mongeluzzo said
