Madeleine and Trenton are fortunate to have friends or family able to offer tremendous support and resources. Each have websites dedicated to their safe return.
These are arguably two of the most publicized missing children stories in the past few months. They have generated some of the most comments on blogs, news articles and in the alleged abduction of Madeleine the largest reward. In the U.S. a reward of a few thousand dollars if at all is common. At one time, Trenton’s was $10,000 a paltry amount in comparison to the millions offered for the safe return of Madeleine.
Please take a moment to view some of the other Missing Children in the tab at the top of this site. Not all of them have received even a fraction of the coverage Trenton and Madeleine have yet they too leave behind grieving families. Most of them have no websites or daily updates.
Note: “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling contributes to the reward fund.
Billionaire Rowling’s offer was made to Britain’s News Of The World Sunday newspaper under the condition the amount was not revealed.
However the paper said it topped the $2.5 million offered by businessman Stephen Winyard.
The offer brings to $9 million the money pledged by British celebrities to help find the missing toddler.
“It is booming,” said Calum MacRae, director of Infohost, the Scottish IT company behind the site. “We didn’t expect this number of people.
“We had 10 million hits between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday–our server just gave up, but we resolved that within five minutes.”
The Web site was launched on May 9 (with the address www.bringmadeleinehome.com) and it changed to www.findmadeleine.com on Wednesday.

Third Street, Santa Monica, CA a woman was carrying several shopping bags including one from Abercombie & Fitch. The little boy looked like a dead ringer for Trenton with darker hair and fairly light complexion, straight hair. The woman was african american apprx. 5′ 3″ did not appear to be his mother, nor a care giver considering the amount of packages she was carrying.
They were last seen walking up 3rd street past the Infusion Cafe. She was not pusing a stroller and he was walking, so they might live close. I did not see them get into a car.
She might be from the UK, did not have southern or slang usage when talking with the little boy.
Wish I had more to tell you.
For all the people out there with missing children I hope from the bottom of my heart that they are out there still or our home safe.Whoever took these children or adults they should be ashamed for what they did to your family and all others. If they are still missing hope that god will always watch them to make them safe and not scared. We need to have strength inside of us to see if they are resting in peace watching down on their families or they are out there praying to come home to their loved family.
